What is this website all about?

The CLM-Community (Climate Limited-area Modelling-Community) is an open, international network of scientists, who develop and apply the regional climate models COSMO-CLM and ICON-CLM.

The scope of this website is to provide a tool for better communication within the community. Community members describe their research topics and their activity within the community, in order to improve the overall collaboration.

Furthermore, the yearly CLM-Assembly is manged with this webpage.

Hereon CLM-Community HCDC

This website is hosted at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon (formerly Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht, HZG). It has been developped by members of the Helmholtz Coastal Data Center (HCDC), mainly by Philipp Sommer. The website is maintained on the technical basis by the HCDC team. The contents are reviewed and edited by the community managers, namely Christian Steger, Anja Thomas from the German Weather Service (DWD), and Beate Geyer from Hereon.
